What is a giclee print? Giclee printing (pronounced gee-clay) is a process of making fine art prints from a digital sourceusing ink-jet printing. The word "giclée" is derived from the French language word "gicler" whichmeans "to squirt or spray". Giclee printing uses no screen or mechanical devices which ensures no visible dot screen patterns are produced. It uses special light-fast inks which ensures the colors will remain true so you can enjoy your reproduction for many years to come. What kind of paper is used for giclee prints? Giclee prints can be produced on many different types of paper. Our prints are offered in glossy and satin finish papers as well as on canvas at an additional cost. What is the difference between paper and canvas? A canvas print allows you to own a reproduction that is as close to the original as possible, not only in colour, but also in texture. In fact, if you were to put the original and its giclee canvas reproduction side by side, most people couldn't tell the difference! Canvas prints are also more durable than paper. How long does it take until I receive my painting? For North American orders, you will receive your painting within 10 business days of your initial order. For international orders, please expect approximately 15 business days before receiving you artwork. How much does shipping cost?
